If you say so. I have a lot of respect for him, and besides Kubiak or Gruden, he's about the only other coach I'd want if Shanahan were to leave the organization. With the ass kicking that the Giants dealt KC, it is clear that the coaching staff lost their chance to coach the Chiefs next season. Lewis vs Saunders, Lewis kicked his ass into next week while wearing pokadots.

I think it's gonna be Al Saunders or Gregg Williams, despite what people have heard. It would be an easier choice to go with someone else besides Saunders because if we want to keep the offensive system we have, it's easy, the new head coach just keeps one of the assistants, like Solari (who may leave if he doesn't get promoted, maybe) or Shea, etc.

Carl doesn't HAVE to have Al to keep the system intact, that plays to his advantage if he really wants to get someone else. Chances are, it'll be Al or Gregg, IMO. But as Dole said, I really won't mind who it is as long as it isn't Gunther.

Exactly.

LJ is the perfect HB for a smashmouth team. Our offensive line will likely be back outside of Shields. This defense finally does have talent, all the next HC has to do is add to that and use it properly.

Watch Peterson hire a defensive minded HC he believes can bring us back up into the top ten and rely on LJ and Green to employ a smashmouth/play action offense...

I would like Rivera. I love watching his defense and I'm sure he would restore hope in our's.

I really don't mind who it is, as long as it isn't Gunther. But Rivera or Williams would be nice I guess.

WR and DT, depending on what's available....I'd probably go Defensive Tackle first round.

Then QBOTF, Safety, DE, OLB, CB in the middle rounds. I honestly hope Svitek or Parquet or Sampson works out at OT, otherwise we are screwed anyway.

Then, another safety, a DE and an OLB become our FA priorities.

Being a head coach is more about being a leader, being able to motivate players and being able to delegate responsibilities to the coaches that you picked.

If you aren't good at those things it won't matter how good of a coordinator you were because calling plays isn't what being a head coach is about.
