Well that's messed up - I 'think' I followed the instructions to the letter, yet every person on my ignore list still shows up, posts, everything

I had that problem until I cleared out my original ignore list accessible through the tools menu. Try that.

Well, some of them work, some don't...

For example, I placed jaz on it to see if it would erase his 100,000 threads in dc - they are all there, so are all of his posts. I picked him because he's easy to find.

What do you think?

Try clearing out all of your cookies. The settings are stored in cookies.

You also have to be aware of capitalization for it to work. You would have to place jAZ on CPiggy, not jaz or JAZ or Jaz. It is case sensitive, I learned that with Goat boy..

I had to make sure I got rid of previous versions. I haven't had a problem since. So I guess that might be an issue.

The instructions clearly state that you must uninstall the old version first. Otherwise the two of them will compete and screw things up.

Alpha 2 is now available. It:

* improves speed
* adds better error trapping with warning dialogs and diagnostic messages
* fixes the problem with some threads still being displayed
* makes user names case-insensitive

It will still show up as Alpha 1, I'm not going to rebrand it until we get into Beta and that's probably a ways out.

Alpha 3 is now up and available. This version has update checking. Automatic daily update checks are disabled by default. Enable automatic update or manually check for updates via the control center.
