A smart OC would've called a quick play so the dumbasses in the booth couldn't look at the replay 50 times

I can't believe the coaching staff wasn't screaming in his ear to hurry up and run a play.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Just like every one of our losses, Huard and the do-nothing OL are to blame.

Every aspect of the Chiefs sucked yesterday. You can not just blame the offense. Special teams was a disaster...look how many yards the "defensless" gave up...Solari and Herm demonstrated their lack of knowledge of how to control a clock. Blame can be spread all around.

I thought it was Favre yelling at McCarthy to challenge it.

everyone is REALLY pretty stupid if they think that play wouldn't have been challenged regardless...they could've SPRINTED to the line and snapped the ball in record time and that red flag STILL would've hit the field before they were able to get a play off.

Which is why the red flag was thrown at almost the last second.

It took most of the play clock for McCarthy to get the flag thrown.

Of course, we wouldn't need to be talking about this if Webb would've drug his feet and fell out of bounds instead of trying to maintain his balance and not fall.

Yeah, a good 20 seconds into the playclock McCarthy was strolling along in his own world, when some assistant came up and yelled in his ear, and he immediately reached for the flag.
The assessment would not have reached the sidelines fast enough if they'd pulled a hurry up.

Not a fact. I'd like to think a 6-1 team (at that time) who pays coaches to look at such a thing wouldn't have missed such a blatantly poor call...

The Chiefs got into the huddle...that gave McCarthy plenty of time to get a relay from his coaching staff...

If the Chiefs hurried to the line and made it look like something was 'fishy' about the catch Green Bay is throwing the red flag on the field with or without confirmation from the guys upstairs.

You guys are off your rockers if you think otherwise.
