If Boone moves outside to LE full time, I think it might have a big impact on how well the DTs play.

How so? Last year he was our best starting DT, at least the first half of the season. I expect Dorsey to out perform him from day 1, but moving him to DE just makes the DT postion weaker, since he is the starter apparent. He's not built like a DE at all. By doing that, it tells me that the Chiefs don't feel they have 2 legitimate starters at DE and are biding time until they do.

That's what I was saying. Boone was really good the first half of the season last year. We'll miss that presence inside, even if Dorsey is good.

I'm hoping Johnston is a diamond in the rough and could start, because a DT tandem of Dorsey and Boone could be lethal, especially given the rest Tank, Edwards and McBride will provide (and Reed, if he doesn't get cut).

Ah, pessimism isn't normally your style, so I missed the sarcasm.

ESPN has KC ranked at #30 in the latest Power Poll. If your prediction comes true, the 29 teams ranked ahead of you will probably have records of 10-6 or better. This season is setting up to be the most astounding, amazing, incredible year in the history of the NFL!! Just imagine the mindbending playoff tiebreakers with 30 teams going 10-6 or better!

I'm up to it.

However, I should point out that it is mathematically impossibe for their to be 30 teams with 10-6 records.

The fact that you give ESPN's power rankings credibility, completely defaces yours.

10-6 with this team?

I will be excited if they go 6-10. The road to rebuilding is long and rough.

You Mr. DT58HOF are in for a major disappointment.

Hey now... my claim that 30 teams will go 10-6 has as least as much credibility as many of the others in this thread - lay off!

Road wins Falcons, Jets, Raiders and Bengals

most teams that win 4 road games usually make the playoffs.

The Falcons and Raiders are not better than us!
The Bengals were Chad Johnson and..... easy win to finish season
The Jets played good late last year but i really don't think they are ever gonna be good.
so if we can win 5 or 6 home games we will make the playoffs

We won't make the playoffs this year. Bet on it.

And change your damn avatar, noob! Readers expect a certain degree of pinache and experience when dumbass posts are executed, and your level of dumbassery is no where near the standard that I have created.

Have an original thought... and start with your avatar.
