your boy sanchez looked great today. wouldn't it be sweet if he, bradford, AND stafford came out? it would be considered one of the better QB classes in years. it would ASSURE us of getting a potential franchise QB.

It would be, except that I would literally cry if Detroit grabbed him. KC deserves a QB of his calibur for ONCE in our miserable lifetimes.

Just ONCE, Goddamnit; that's all I ask!

The dude was able to take OU into great sucsess, there's a good chance he may do the same with Denver...he has .8 winning record with OU. That is nuts.

He has only lost two games in Norman since he's been there. Yet he got on TV and bitched the fans weren't loud enough to make the opposition go to a silent count.

let's list the college coaches who have been successful in the NFL since Jimmy Johnson:

1. Butch Davis
2. Steve Spurrier
3. Nick Saban
4. Bobby Petrino
5. Etc....

wait, I meant coaches that have been gigantic failures, most of which quit and ran crying back to college...

not to mention they all had bad teams to work with.
Spurrier was the only one that could have any player he wanted, the others were setup for failure, the Falcons,Browns and Dolphins all sucked when these guys got there.

I can't wait to see a melt down of epic proportions at the Mange if Bolen hires Raheem Morris. Stoops would make the mistake of his life if he were to jump to Denver. He's got it made at Oklahoma. Why screw up a sweet gig by taking a lateral step with less job security?
It would be insanity. And hopefully his wife would stop him.

Exactly, it's as stupid as the inevitable Pete Carroll to the NFL rumors that are surely coming at some point.

Just FTR, I wouldn't be against him doing it for the very same reasons that are outlined in this thread.

What's the deal with all the hating on Bob Stoops? Are you guys just jaded MU fans tired of getting your azzes kicked? Or is there some other reason? Honestly, as Sooner fan I'd like to know if there is something I am missing due to my fandom.
