I'd rather have Matt Jones or Marvin Harrison.
But it's hard to argue with bringing any WR's in. It's not like we've got a lot in the cupboard.

Porter smells like Al Davis's nut sack.

We'd be better off by staying away from ALL OF THEM IMHO. Porter included.

Of course you think the Chiefs receiving core would be better off without either Porter/Harrison/Burress. Your the one who praises Brodie Croyle, and thought he was awesome. And I also imagine Mike Goff should be departed. Last I checked, he was a Charger ![]() Praise the lord above ![]() |

Hmm...lets see here... Burress...shot himself in the leg, ergo I'm just supposed to just start liking the fact that he will start the season suspended? Ya, great idea.... ![]() Porter was a freaking RAIDER, therefore as a CHIEFS FAN I say NO. You got a problem with that? I want NOTHING that Al Davis has EVER touched. NOTHING. Oh and Harrison, hmm, I would be ok with him, if he wasn't at the end of his career, AND if we hadn't signed Engram already. Yet, your the only one with a functioning brain? Watch yourself. And don't bring the freaking Chargers up. As much as I hate their sparkling asses, they still dont get as much hate as the RAIDERS. You of all people Farzin? And the Chargers discarded Goff. DONT forget that. And dont poke fun at me because I still support Brodie Croyle. You better watch out, because if by some slim chance this kid does what I think he is capable of doing, I will be RIGHT HERE ready to remind you when it's all said and done. Dont mistake my apology for last year as an invitation to poke fun at me because I am fan of Croyle, and the Roll Tide. I read and process the same information as you Farzin, and I have been more than patient with your non homer responses. I will pounce on you like a fat kid on a cup cake if you give me just cause. Write that down while your at it. I am a fan of football, and football players. Just because you decide to participate in the mass be heading of a player that failed last year, doesn't mean that I am going to BAAAAAAAAA like the rest of the sheep. ( ehem.........like YOU. )

![]() He might send PetroDouche to your house to bore you to death with endless discussions of Royals Baseball!!!! But tell me; you wouldn't take a 30 year old Marcus Allen back? I'd drive LJ downtown and put his ass on the midnight train to Georgia for THAT trade.

Jerry Porter???
Gimme a break! A big HELL NO for me, thank you. What are some people thinking nowadays? Not even before he got old would I consider thinking about throwing around the idea that we might be thinking about bringing in such a huge cancer to a team totally lacking a veteran lockerroom. He isnt even productive so I dont even see the point in discussing it. Jerry Porter is a BROKE mans Plaxico Burress and even he is a big hell no! I would trade a second rounder for Braylon Edwards (I know he has the dropsies, but Haley is a reciever genious and this would give us two young recievers for Cassel to grow with and build timing with as well. or a second plus other considerations for Boldin Or a first for Marshall and other considerations Or just sign Marvin Harrison, as on his last legs can still be a dependable option for Cassel on third down when Bradley is hurt. The two could equal to a complete reciever, no? |

I believe Engram will be valuable to this offense.
I think Bowe takes a step forward under the guidance of Todd Haley. I hate depending on Bradley to stay healthy... And the other options just don't seem all that reliable (Webb, Darling). It'd be nice to have just 1 more guy...

He might be worth a look for the Chiefs. His flaws have been talked about already. Sometimes someone has to lose something to appreciate it. He left Oakland with the big head going to what he thought was a contender. He and the team fell flat on their face. He has found no interest and did nothing short of begging Oakland to take him back. If signed on the cheap he may rededicate himself minus ego and could maybe fill a need. If not they cut his ass and are no worse for the wear.

At this point we need to bring in any receiver we can for a look. All we have is Bowe and that isn't much.
