I'm a K-State fan & am bitter at UNC/Hansbrough because Mike Beasley got screwed out of last year's (2007-08) POTY for that little biyatch.

At the same time, I don't begrudge the kid for doing well, nor do I hold anything against Roy for taking his dream job. I guess I'm funny like that. But if you KU fellas want to keep running with this "Roy who?" garbage...well more power to you. |

I'm not your typical KU fan I guess. I appreciate everything Roy did for this university. He said no once, and the second time he debated and debated and it you could tell how hard it was for him. I mean, how can you turn down your alma mater and dream job? I couldn't do it. The guy even wore a jayhawk sticker on national television and publically said he wanted us to win. Roy Williams is a class act weather you like it or not.
I'm really not sure why people hate the Hansboroughs and Reddicks of the world. They stay in school. Get good grades. Have an unbelievable work ethic. They do not get in trouble, yet they are hated. These guys are the epitome of what college basketball is about. The same can be said about Darren Collison, Kirk Hinrich, and other players like that, yet nobody hates them. Just because someone plays for a team you hate, doesn't mean they are bad people. Especially due to the fact that UNC and Duke are not known as dirty programs. Anything but. It's not like we are talking about programs ran by John Calipari or Jerry Tarkanian.

People hate HandsBro because he's a giant ****ing tool. He flops and cries. Not denying his talent, but without the other crap, he'd probably be adored.
And +1 on the Roy is a class act. I was bitter at first, but seeing him wearing the Jayhawk on national television and listening to him defend what he did to the NC faithful really changed my opinion on him. So, I'm happy for him, as long as whatever he does doesn't come at the expense of KU's success. |

If he were playing for KU, I'd be glad he was on the team, but that wouldn't take away from his ass-clownishness. I'm happy for Paul Pierce and what he . . . almost . . . accomplished at KU, but his stunts during the NBA Finals were pure buffoonery.

Well boys I watched the AFI's tribute to Michael Douglas. Why you may ask? One reason and one reason only. Plenty of Catherine Zeta-Jones. Wearing the sexiest outfit ever. I cream for her. She is back in the top 5, baby!!!!

As a Celtics fan, I do find Pierce's self-indulgence annoying at times. But, you have to remember, these NBA players of today are told early and often how great they are. And then Pierce came to a Celtics team that sucked, where he was the lone good point, and every year he had to listen to people wax nostalgic about the "good old days" of Bird/Parish/McHale and how bad the current Celtics were. Every season he watched his talented efforts go wasted. So, when they finally hit the big time with Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett, what you were watching was really a career's worth of pent-up frustration IMO.
