hopefully it is the team and not matt .... but matt sure doesn't appear to be helping matters much.

I'm coming to the same conclusion. And you don't build a franchise around a role-play QB. You do it around a franchise QB.

I'm not as worried about him missing on that throw. What worries me is that this came during a half where it seemed pretty clear to me that Cassel gave up on his team.

He had some inaccuracy issues in New England. And he's had some all season. But in the first game against San Diego and the against Denver, Cassel looked like he didn't want to play.

I still think Cassel's capable of a lot more. And it's ****ing frustrating that the Chiefs decided that he didn't need a QBs coach this season. But at this point, you have to bring in a new QB next season to compete for a starting job.

He couldn't decide which to throw to so he decided to throw in the middle of both and see which one wanted it more. Obviously that was a failure on the recievers part.

Wow. I am being completely honest when I say this. I was at that game Sunday and during the pregame they had local Pass, Punt, and Kick participants showing their stuff. Some of the older kids threw the ball just as far as Matt did on that play.
