McDaniels also benched Tony Scheffeler. Who the **** benches its 2 best players on offense in a must win game? It's pretty obvious who the douche is.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that.

I think that players do have a an impact on therest of the team with their behavior.

However, I also think, in spite of the overall youth on the Chiefs, we have some strong positive locker room influence in guys like Glen Dorsey, Brandon Flowers and Branden Albert, so Marshall's influence would be negligible.

yeah, tell that to the '04 Red Sox (Nomar) and the '08 Red Sox (Manny). If you don't think a star can really do a number on a team's atmosphere, you're sadly mistaken.

Didn't that 2004 team win the WS for the first time in eleventy billion years, and the 2008 team come back from a 3-1 deficit to force a Game 7 in the ALCS?

Right, the '04 team won the WS **AFTER** getting hot after the all star break during which they traded Nomar. Their fortunes clearly and obviously took off after getting rid of him.

Yes, the '08 team did fine to come back from down 3-1 to ultimately lose to a team with less than half the Red Sox' (absurd) payroll. Hard to be too impressed with it, really.

And everyone knows how TO divided the locker rooms he has been in.

Look, I'm ok with certain guys that have certain types of baggage. For example, Michael Irvin had the drug problem, but the guy was as hard a worker and as loved by his teammates as anyone. And in the locker room and on the field he was all about winning and helping his team win. I'm not saying that I want a big drug user on the team, I'm saying you're always going to have some guys with baggage, but you have to find out whether or not it effects the team.

In Marshall's case, it does. In TO's case, it does/did. Larry Johnson? We all know about that. That's the point, you don't want guys that cause problems in the locker room or on the field. I don't give a damn how much talent they have, a locker room divided will NOT win anything. This is a fact. So any player that brings that kind of behavior into the locker room, I don't want. So Marshall can go corrupt some other team someplace else or stay in donkey land where he gets force fed the ball/has his stats padded more than any other WR in the league.

Just give them their first back. That would be awesome. Effectively get the guy for a 2nd.

I don't really think you should put an entire team of those types of guys together but a couple won't kill a team.

Exactly it's a football team not an accounting office you need some guys to stir things up. Not a whole team like mecca said but if you have no guys like this you are stale and lifeless.

The Donks contractually tied him up last year so no way they let him go to a division rival.

No team is going to trade a first round pick for him. If he's that much of a distraction McDaniels is dumb enough to flat out cut him.

He will be a restricted free agent. Meaning that so long as Denver tenders him, another team will forfeit a draft pick.

And, if you don't think a team will give up a first for him... you are stupid.
