Well he's our starter for better or worse hopefully better .. if they strenghten the OL maybe he can produce more points .. I think he needs more work on his game-day reads .. that and D improvement we might win a few more games this year ..

Brodie has talent while Cassel's ability is more of a more mobile Josh Heupal with worse field vision who got the opportunity to play on a championship caliber offense .

If it was going to happen it would have happened by now. Brodie had some talent but he's proven he will never get it done in the NFL. I'm trying to recall anyone who lingered behind the Damon Huards of the league and then went on to become an elite QB, like a Favre or Manning or (gak!) Elway. It just doesn't happen. It's time to move on.

Kurt Warner.

As for Trent Green, we'll never know because Carl and Dick could never fix the defense, but as much good as he did, his propensity to make some real boneheaded decisions and bad passes at the most inopportune times leads me to believe that he was not a guy that could lead his team to the SB.

Ah, Kurt Warner! Great exception to the rule! Still, I do not want to pin all my hopes on finding the next exception to the rule. I would far prefer to go with the odds and draft a legit prospect. Hell, we should draft at least one QB a year until we do find a Manning or a Favre.
