I'm not sure that would be a great thing for the run defense. Chancy enough up the middle with the problems at nose tackle, two undersized ILBs might be pushing your luck.

(Although come to think of it Belcher is small isn't he?)

I'd put Belcher in place of Williams and move Williams over to replace DJ. Other than that one play Friday night I haven't seen any fire in DJ's play. Williams and Belcher though both have looked this preseason like they want to get out there and hit someone. We need some attitude and fire in this D!

maybe because Jones was the new guy and needed more reps to learn an offense Charles already knew

Or then can move DJ to the other ILB spot and start Williams. Then if something Happens to Williams then DJ can slide back over and Belcher can step in.
