Ryan Lilja was available because Bill Polian had to find someone to deflect blame away from Manning for that loss.

I think it has more to do with Petro wanting to look like he was right when he beat that no safety at 5 drum for months.

The Chiefs are 2-0. Most casual fans think that's great and that the Chiefs are back and on their way to the playoffs. They don't understand or watch Cassel, his poor mechanics, lack of leadership and so on, so Petro needs an easy target.

Berry's an easy target for the uninformed masses. You know, the same people that think Brandon Carr sucked last year when in reality, it was Mike Brown.

That guy is so ****ing useless. He was ESPECIALLY useless leading up to the 2009 draft and at times, I'd rather listen to audio of wild chimpanzees flinging shit at each other for three hours.

Actually that guy isn't alone. There's another guy I've been talking to on a blog that is trying to stick up for Cassel because he was good in 2008, and he honestly believes that Cassel is a great QB here's his quote to me...

"The addition of Matt Cassel as a quarterback gave them someone that you can honestly say is a guy that has potential to be really good."
