Lesson learned: Grab an officer, expect to get slapped. Throw 3 punches at him, expect to get punched back.

Heh, I have never been in a street fight with a cop, but they walked into my self defense class all the time. Most of them were good guys, but I would run into the one about once every two weeks, that thought he was a bad ass and would want to go full contact. Most of those guys never showed up again.

Big "mellow" punches still hurt worse than "drunk haymakers". I'll take my chances with the drunk dipshits.

I've been in that situation before, and while I would never dream of putting my hands on a woman.. If I were in that situation again, I would punch that bitch right in the ****ing face as many times as it took to get her under control.

I think a lot of times, police go overboard, and instead of trying to defuse a situation they only add fuel to the fire by being assholes. I'm not sure if that was the case or not, but the woman threw a punch at him after he tried to grab her. She deserved what she got.

Well regardless of how you interpret the intent of his grasp/punch. She had her hand on him(grabbing up around the neck) prior to that happening.

In my opinion, in potentially high stress or violent situations like that, physical contact is the line that just can't be crossed.

I know most won't agree with me, but it's also why I don't blame Ron Artest, or Legarette Blount for reacting the way they did.

That was not "excessive force" on the cop's part. She's fortunate that she didn't receive a much more forceful response to her foolish actions. It'd be a crime if that cop gets any action taken against him. And I certainly hope that her and any other litigants lose their case and have to pay the Police Department's legal bill if this goes to trial. Crazy. That said, the whole dress and handcuffs visual was kind of hot. Angry sex with that fiery little habanero might worth a few bruises. Throw in some maple syrup and a Stormtrooper uniform and you've got yourself a party. Yum.

Tom that girl was probably from the FL/AL border - you could throw her in a Willy Wonka chocolate pond and I'd decline.
