Chiefs Vote for next Chiefs HC - Page 10

I picked John Gruden, but given that possibly the only reason he coached the Bucs was to give a big f**k you to the Raiders when he led the Bucs to a Superbowl win over them makes me suspicious of him saying yes to coaching the Chiefs. Afterall, Gruden did coach the Raiders prior to that year and was less than successful with them. I would say Tony Dungy, but the last time we hired a former Superbowl winning coach (Dick Vermeil), we didn't go any further than the second round of the playoffs during his 5 years with us. You know why? Because we had a d-bag for a defensive coordinator, and only brought Gunther C. back in when it was too late.

What about Al Sanders? No chance I know, but when he was our OC our offense was really brilliant.

Not sure who I want but I know this:

I don't want Fischer, and I don't want Cowher. Not in today's NFL, where playing defense gets you fined and suspended. I'd bet money Vermeil would take us to a Super Bowl before either of them with Flag Football Goodell running the show (i know, flame away).

It's Arena League now, how bout an Arena Coach?

I do, there's a bunch of others around here that don't though.

McNair made Fischer, not the other way around. Dude only had one good season without him, and that was thanks to the defense, which gets neutered more and more every week.

Marty is past his time, and I dont want him now, but he could build a team. Norv coasted on the tails of the Team Marty created. Not even in the same league.

When I told my wife we fired Haley her response was "Maybe we can get Marty back". I wanted to reach through the phone and slap her.
