Drafting back ups in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds makes a ton of sense!

There is nothing wrong with our draft. All teams need depth and having beef in the trnches is a must for any team to win. We are getting the depth we lack. We do need another safety and RB for sure.

I'm shocked that DeCastro lasted so far into the first. Clearly he was the top talent in the draft, and at a game changing position. Indy picked the wrong Cardinal.

Herm Edwards is a complete embarrassment. I can't stand the guy, and I still almost feel sorry for how big of a fool he makes of himself on ESPN. Does anyone else have a hard time watching him? Maybe it's just me.

A nose tackle that works out is between us and a top flight defense. Obviously they believe the comparisons between Poe and Ngata. Either way, it's not some left field pick.

Our offensive line was pathetic last year. This offseason we have added two new starters and now look like our line will be very good. When you are behind the eight ball at QB, there is no reason not to improve the line. And out depth was horrendous last year.

I don't see major issues with our draft. I never thought people would bash their heads against the wall over not spending a high pick on a guard. I think people just love to bitch

Really the only player of that list I have any interest in is Sean Spence.

Why would I want DeCastro at 11? Mike Adams at all? Ta'amu as a two-gap 3-4?

It may work for the Steel, but it's not what the Chiefs want.

I love this DeCastro stuff. You'd have loved the pick if they had taken him at 11. That would have been ten spots too high, but youd have cheered because you dont know what the enitre league seemed to think - that DeCastro was overrated.

But since he almost fell all the way out of the first round, now you get to say "we should have traded down!"

Optimum bitching potential

How did DeCastro "almost fall all the way out of the first round" if he was drafted in the first round by Pittsburgh?

Explain that one dumbshit.

The Chiefs have drafted just fine. We have all our starters in place for the most part. This draft was all about a NT and depth. It's as simple as that. There is no one really on our starting 22 that we were going to bench for anyone we drafted save 1 or 2 spots...maybe.

JFC the Fat Scott dumbshit homers are out in full force (led by the 800 year old rotting corpse who claims that Will Shields wasn't an impact player).

Good teams who draft well don't reach for crappy players simply to fill a need.

The Chiefs did exactly that. The only way Poe is going to be an effective NFL starter is if every game of his career is played at the NFL Combine.
