The Giant defense and running game showed up in the last quarter of the season, and in the playoffs.

They did not show up for the first 3 quarters of the season, however, and the only reason they had the chance to come on strong at the end of the season is because Eli kept them afloat.

Eli had to throw 58 goddamn times in the NFC Championship, and his team won by 3 points.

Think about Cassel in that kind of game. How many sacks would he allow if he had to pass that much? How many turnovers?

Eli had 0 turnovers, was sacked only 3 times. Against a nasty ****ing D.
