Never said he wasn't.

He's also a dumbass. If he was smart, he wouldn't draw so much attention to himself.

It's really the ONLY reason a lot of Chief fans hate him.

You are saying that it was his fail to be a hc/OC combo and I posted MC because he is probably the reason no good OCs wanted any part of that job in KC. ESPECIALLY when Pioli was adamant that Cassel was the starter and wouldn't bring in legit combination.

I'd bet almost anything that he hires a OC when he gets his next HC gig because people will actually want the job.

I'm telling you, Matt Cassel effected everything to do with the rest of the leagues perception with this team over the last 4 years...NOT Todd Haley as evidenced by the Steelers forcing Arians out to hire Haley and him being in HC talks after one year there.

Let me take it one step further...I wouldn't be the least but surprised to hear Haley turn down HC offers this offseason to stay in Pittsburgh another year and wait for a perfect opportunity to come about because he knows how the rest of the league thinks of him.

No, you interpreted that wrong/I worded it poorly.

When I said "draw attention to himself" I meant the tirades and outbursts. It had nothing to do with the X's and O's - I actually think he's pretty good at those.

And I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers fired him after 1 year there.

You've got a coach who didn't want him. A QB who didn't want him. The #1 defense in the league. With the 22nd ranked offense in the league.

Haley sucks and yet dumbass threads like this get bumped because people continue to swing from his sack like he was some genius in KC who didn't get to maximize his potential.

Everyone wants to talk about Roethlisbergers picks at the end of the game to lose. Yet no one wants to mention the whopping 10 point plan whipped up by Haley.

You're an idiot. Haley isn't going to be fired and the offense isn't a disaster there. He hasn't been an offensive mastermind, but there are far bigger problems than Haley in Pittsburgh. And it starts with your idiotic claim that Haley is losing games behind a top notch defense. The defensive decline is one of the biggest reasons the Steelers aren't the Steelers.

And Haley was hired for a specific reason. Because Big Ben is 30 and can't afford to play in an aerial offense anymore and they can't afford to have Big Ben exposed as he's been in the past to get clobbered. Despite Ben's injury, he's been knocked around a whole lot less this year and even crappy linemen are blocking with much better technique, just as we saw in Kansas City. Haley isn't going to get fired.

The #1 defense in the league is the reason the Steelers are failing...

The picks have a direct affect on the number of points scored.

Get over Todd Haley already. JFC

I'll get over him the day he's no longer being talked about on this board with people saying "They'd love to have his less than mediocre ass back in KC."
