I'm on board, but this should probably be the David Glass hate thread.

Billy Beane says the gm wins or loses games. But then, he takes responsibility for his management of the team.

We have gone from 100 loss seasons to 90 losses. Progress.

But no, the Royals haven't lost confidence in Moustakas. Keeping him in the majors is doing him wonders.

They sure as hell haven't lost confidence in Frenchy, although I can't for the **** figure out what he's done to give them any ****ing reason to believe he's gonna produce.

He could go 1 for 100, and they would totally ignore the 99 outs and focus like a laser on his one hit and say that proves he's still got it in him, it's just a matter of time until he turns it around.

Francoeur's constant presence in the lineup is absolutely infuriating. The guy is 29 years old and his wins above replacement values have been negative for more than a year. I can understand having Moustakas and Hosmer in the lineup because those guys are just kids, but Frenchy needs to be somewhere other than the regular lineup.

A few days ago I was seriously considering flying to KC for the games this weekend. Glad I didn't.

I'm too much of a diehard to quit on this team. While watching them live in Oakland earlier this month, I realized how many of their best players were born after the Royals' last appearance in the playoffs. Frenchy's not one of them. He's too old for the Royals to have him in the everyday lineup dragging down the team's chances.
