I waited until my contract with Verizon expired then went to Straight Talk (Verizon network). No contract and $45 per month for unlimited everything. I couldn't be happier.
Good luck TBG |

1) Why would you care about this? Just call back, I can't see this being employed often if at all. 2) Uhh pay your bill? I doubt they will call your boss if you're two days late on payment. 3) Do you work for AT&T? |

I have had Sprint for about 8 years now...at times their service/connections have been horrible.
1) Length of call has never been my real concern. I spend most of my day on the phone so when I leave work the last thing I want to do is be on a phone. But I am probably a little different from most in that sense. 2) I chuckled when I saw that slipped into the T&C. I had to call Sprint on something so I thought I would venture into that one myself. First, I told them right off that they were not to call my Employer at any time concerning my bill...EVER....and that I wanted that note in my records. If, for some reason, I ever got in a dispute that declaration is to prevent them from calling my employer about a debt. (See: Fair Debt Collections Practices Act) I've never been thrilled with any of the cell companies....each one has it's detractors, even those that people say they love. I noticed many people saying they are going to Straight Talks....I've heard people who have switched to them and been disappointed too. |

Why would I work for AT&T and have Sprint as my cell provider? Why does Sprint get to skirt around consumer laws that state the only way a collection agency can contact you is if they regularly collect debts?

It's also absurd that not one CSR is clear about when they are rolling out 4G or LTE in my area. One guy said it was in the process of being installed, the next said in 6 months they are starting it and one moron said they already had it in my area. 3 CSRs. I asked the last one if they had it in my area is that why I don't even get 3G in most spots anymore?

If they outsource their 1st Party collections the Provider still has to follow normal collection procedures. If it is 3rd Party Collections they are trying to mimic internally, then that is another story. I have heard of companies trying this but they always run into compliance issues. |

I have one main issue with Sprint.
My step-daughter has epilepsy. She won a smart watch that she can wear...that will track and monitor whenever she has a seizure. It will even go so far as to send her Mom and I a text message or a phone call when it happens. To do that....it has to be hooked up to a phone (obviously). Unfortunately the watch only works with 2 smart phones. So I added a line to our plan and had to buy a Nexus ($200). This phone has been used one time and that was a test call to make sure that everything works. I called Sprint after a couple of months to see if we could possibly get a discount on the line because it's not being used and it would only be used in the event of a seizure. All those ****ers offered me was a one time $5 credit off of my bill. Seriously? I'm paying $19.99 a month for the line, $8 a month for the insurance AND I had to pay for the phone at the beginning.....and it's not being used. **** you Sprint. |

All phone companies are horrible. You could find shit to complain about with every single one of them.
