If you want a good chuckle over this KU/MU thing; just go to the 150 years ago thread brewing in DC right now.

I'll defend MU fans here. I really haven't heard from any that are excited about Daniels.

He's pretty good when there's no one standing in front of him. But that rarely happens when you'r trying to throw the ball in the NFL. Could have signed him for half of what they did too. That's what makes most of us upset at the situation.

$3.3 million is hefty for a backup, and that is a legitimate beef. But if we aren't near the cap and losing out on someone else because of it... I don't really care what Clark is doling out to individual players.

Full disclosure: Mizzou Fan.

I'm a little disappointed. He's had a pretty rough preseason. Not just the games, most of the reports from St. Joe said he wasn't playing well. He seemed to always play pretty well in the preseason for NO, so that's a little concerning.

I never believed he'd be a legitimate starter in the league. I really believed, though, that he had the potential to be a serviceable backup. A guy you could plug for 3-4 games and work around his limitations enough to pull out some W's.

In my opinion, he got too big of a contract. But hey...it's not my money.

Pretty much this. He looked so good running the Saints offense in the past. Of course, this is all new stuff for everybody, not just him. It's not like he's getting rock solid protection on every play. But still, I wish he looked better. He's still got time.
