Calling my shot.

2 days ago, I called BS when Carl said they were turning their attention away from Linebackers.

Based upon information available to everybody who follows football and the fact that he's received no other offers from his other visits....

it is my opinion that Hartwell will be introduced as a Chief tomorrow morning.

You should be advised that I'm probably wrong. I haven't called any sources and nobody has called me to break any news. I'm just applying some deductive reasoning here.

Allen is impressive. We'll soon know how far he can go....

While I didn't think Gunther's Falcon hybrid was incredibly effective, I think Allen would have been ideal for that position. Unfortunately, we don't have the personnel to be that creative this year. That unit gelled like.... well, like a Patriots unit. Everybody knew where they were supposed to be and they covered one another's back.

Anthony Davis Played outstanding that year at WLB. We havn't had anyone play it the same since, including Donnie Edwards.

Didn't hurt to have a "motivated Dan Williams" either.

I disagree bout the sensus here that we cant run the 3\4. we can run the falcon. Bell could be the falcon, so could jason taylor (trade holmes for surtain and taylor). so could mitchell, stills (once or twice a game), allen could be the rush side end on passing, Hicks on the other side. Browning in place of allen or backing up hicks mostly on 1st down and second and short. dalton sims siavi rotating inthe middle? ****in tweak it, don't play a 34 all the time improvise. be unconventional;. get the players tweak the scheme.

Uh, that's not how I remembered it.

I remember Thomas being upset about the position.

We don't have the personnel to run the 3-4. And the "Falcon" was the worst idea EVAR in our history. Most people forget how Derrick Thomas hated it and how teams used to run the ball STRAIGHT at DT. Forget the 3-4, we would need a whole slew of players to make it work.
