Football This Sanchez Chap - Page 10

I fully admit that I'm not very savvy when it comes to football, but while watching the Chiefs game this weekend, CBS suddenly turned to the Jets' game instead (I'm not really sure why). Anyway, the Jets had a QB named Sanchez that seemed really good a throwing the ball (which is, I think, the primary goal of a QB). So, I started thinking: "I think this is the chap who the Chiefs could have drafted this year, but didn't."

Is that correct?

If so, how much are the Jets paying this Sanchez fellow in comparison to Cassel?

Well Seattle just watched Seneca Wallace play qb for them and they could of had Sanchez also.

I live in Washington so its funny to see all the Seahawk fans crying also.

Rams Seahawks and Chiefs fans are going to wonder for years why they didn't draft Sanchez...Lions fans may even do the same.

It's amazing to actually see them run deep outs and square ins. IMO, the most impressive thing about him is that despite his strong arm, he already demonstrates really good touch.

Exactly, it would have been viewed as a typical Carl move but since it was Pioli it was ok.

Hell people that fully said they did not want Cassel before the deal 180'd there are threads to prove it.

I think you and I both agree on how much we wanted Sanchez.

Here's the problem:

I don't think that many people would argue that Cassel is a bum. At the same time, I don't think you're winning a Super Bowl with him unless you've got an absolutely ridiculous team surrounding him.

This. I wanted Sanchez or Stafford as much as anyone. I'm just wondering why they didn't do more to fix the OL.

I'm not going to be nearly as patient with a 27 year old who was deemed the franchise by our "awesome GM".

A 27 year old player is a win now player I expect him to play like it.
