Ouija Boards.... damn

I tried one for the first time last week. It was pretty awesome. Freaky.... but awesome.

We talked to a woman named "DENlSE" from Colorado Springs who was murdered by her friend "JASON" in Fredricksburg, TX. It was surreal. I'm still a little bit freaked out.

Anybody have any Ouija Board stories???

HAS ANYONE EVER DONE IT?!?!?!

...if you've never done it, I encourage you to try it at least once. I've done it on three separate occasions, but have no desire to ever do it again. Shit got a little bit too real.

I used one of these things when I was about 14 w/ some friends. Tried it a couple other times but I guess we could not obtain a "spirit".

And I can tell you I was freaked the hell out. I laughed when my friends got it out, I was like this won't work. In no time the thing was moving like crazy spelling out stuff. I still didn't believe it and neither did my friends so I said fine, I took my hands off of it and asked it questions that nobody else would know but me. Sure enough to spelled all of them out. To be clear, I don't believe in god, fairies, spirits, ghosts or any of that stuff...but I guess that is the one thing that sticks w/ me. Maybe my friends were just fucking w/ me, But I don't know how they would of known some of that stuff. It was way off on predictions though. Said I'd marry already, have 3 children. That was waaay off lol

Seriously though, I'll never touch one of those things. Nothing good can come of it.

It's all fun and games until the hideous, demonic, shape-shifting, spirit-being of unutterable ghastliness and sinister intent crosses over to possess your girlfriend who commences to chop your penis into small, bite-sized pieces and serves them up as a pizza topping.

Jerry Ouija was a bad, bad man.

I think it's a form of channeling, too. If someone wants to bring out a demon, it's really not that hard. The biggest trick the devil ever pulled, was convincing the world he didn't exist.

I've heard that it might be controlled by your subconscious. Whatever it is, though, something moves that shit...
Maybe your hands that are on it? If it moves without someone touching it, then I'd believe it.

Damnit. Didn't realize I was replying to an old thread. Damn you Detoxing!

A colleague and I once flew into Salt Lake City for a business meeting in Provo the following day. The flight was late and we finally wound up getting into Salt Lake about 2am. Anyway, other than our flight, the airport was pretty deserted ... as was the cab stand outside baggage claim. I was able to flag down a cab, though. We threw our bags in the trunk and away we went.

As we were driving to the hotel, the cabbie began telling us a very strange story about how he and two girls had driven from Texas to Utah and, somewhere along the way, the girls disappeared. He said he missed them, but he didn't know where they were. He kept repeating this odd story ... maybe three times almost verbatim. About that time, I noticed that this cab driver was the skinniest dude I'd ever seen. Merely skin and bones and completely bald. He had a protruding nose and eyes and, for some inexplicable reason, I started feeling a little strange about the whole thing. When I glanced at my colleague, he had an odd ... sort of perplexed ... expression on his face, as well.

I started asking the cabbie questions about how long he'd driven a cab (he said he didn't know), how long he'd been in Utah (he said he didn't remember), was he originally from Texas (he said he thought so), etc. As these questions and non-answers went on, discomfort continued unabated.

Finally, we get to the hotel and I tell the guy to help us with our bags - which he did. The hotel lobby was empty as was the drive out front. We walk in, check in at the front desk, and then turn around to pay the driver and he's gone. Vanished. My friend and I went outside to find him. Not there. No cab. Nothing. We then re-entered the hotel and asked the front desk clerk if he knew where the cab driver went and he said, "What cab driver?"

True story.

After reading this thread, I'm definitely turning my life around, lest I be barred passage to the great hereafter and damned to an eternity of answering the stupid questions of stoned college students on Friday nights.

I personally love the things, have 2 of them actually. An old school Parker Bros. on wood from the 50's and a newer glow in the dark one on gameboard like material. Haven't used one in years, actually the last time I did I was by myself, wasn't really scared until I went to sleep and had the scariest nightmare of my entire life. Haven't used it since, but I was thinking about breaking it out for Halloween. If I have a repeat experience itll be another 3 years before I use it again...it's fun being scared.
