Isn't adderall a 4 game suspension? I thought Hayden of the Browns was suspended 4 games for it, but is currently appealing the decision.

I'm not sure if you have to piss positive for a violation of the substance abuse policy.

For Collins the report read:

"Collins was found in violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

The suspension could not have come as a surprise to the Bears. Collins was arrested for marijuana possession in February in Virginia. According to reports, Collins was pulled over for having illegally tinted windows and police smelled marijuana in the car. A search turned up marijuana in the trunk."

It looks like you might be in violation of the substance abuse policy if you have an off-field infraction involving drugs even without a positive test.
