I listened to a non spoiler review and basically the dude said when the turtles are on screen its solid. The turtles rock but the movie seems to be centered a lot more on Megan Fox and she never leaves the screen. The plot is meh but the action and turtles are fun. Sounds like a sequel needs more turtles
Of course the studio has to ruin it with that...tmnt sells it self not Megan fox or shia lebough bay |

The action isn't that great. I got really bored with it.
Michaelangelo was awesome, though. |

They spend about the first 20 or 30 minutes building up to the turtles as a slow reveal which I thought was unecessary. Everyone already knows what the turtles look like Plot was meh, but the turtles were awesome and action was fantastic. This isn't Shakespeare. It's about as good a TMNT movie can be.

My soon-to-be 4 year-old year is just starting to get into TMNT....I am ****ing amped!
He just told the wife and I he wanted a TMNT birthday party...brought a tear to my eye. I've pulled some of the original cartoons up on youtube for him to watch. He likes it for the most part. Shredder is kind of scary and he has a hard time understanding how Splinter is their "Daddy" when they are turtles and he is a rat. The Secret of the Ooze was on ABCF the other morning so we watched the first 10 minutes of that and he was laughing non-stop. Then they showed shredder coming out of the garbage dump and he didn't want to watch it anymore. He still may be a bit young for some of it, and I am sticking to the original cartoons at the moment, but have all the movies on DVD for when he is ready for some more. I was 7 when the orginal movie came out. Have not seen the new one, yet.

I saw this last night. It made my wife laugh, so that's good. The action scenes were pretty good, Shredder was ****ing epic. The CGI was outstanding. It had some serious plot holes in it that rivaled that of Transformers 2 and they rushed through the first 20mins of the movie which really annoyed me. It's not that i felt like it needed a backstory, but if you're going to do one, then don't rush through it so much that it's painfully obvious you're trying to rush through it.
Overall, it was a fun movie and i enjoyed it. The Turtles and Shredder are pretty much all this movie is though.

I'd love if they were ballsy enough to include Krang. I've always got the feeling that they have shied away from a lot of the more interesting characters like him or Baxter. Mainly because the movies have been targeted to kids and they've kept the plotlines simple and formulaic, sadly.
