Chiefs Pre-Camp Optimism Poll - Page 10

Will camp getting ready to kick-off I'm interested in how the optimism meter is running around here. So assuming no major injuries what will be Chiefs record be in 2013?

1. 0-4
2. 5-7
3. 8
4. 9
5. 10
6. 11
7. 12-16

I'm going with 10.

4 of the first seven we win....OAK, Jax, Ten should be wins and then we find 1 win from NYG, Dal, Phi, & Hou
The next 9, 6 should be victories, but I'm assuming we stumble on 1 of those so another 5 victories. (Browns, Bill, Raiders, 2x Chargers, Colts).
I think we can split with the Donkies, but lose to Redskins, which makes 10 wins.

I really think it's a 10-6ish team. It's going to be an interesting year, though, because The Raiders will be epically shitty, The Chargers look like crap, and Denver is way, way overrated.
This is not the normal, tough from top to bottom AFC West.

Sure, people talking 10-6 could be wrong, there are several sizeable variables at work... new coaches, new schemes, new QB.

But to say its homeristic simply doesnt ring true, this is a better coached, more talented team than those 2010 guys, going against the same kind of schedule.

+ 62 year old Defensive Coordinator (and his brand new defensive scheme)
+ QB that throws for less than 200 yards and less than 2 TDs per game
probably = about 7 wins, and third place in the AFCW.
