Another strong game today for Watson. 3 TDs against the Titans so far.

I thought he was pretty garbage outside of his allusiveness and jump ball type throws. He just has very good WR's. His accuracy was terrible though.

He seems like a Vince Young, RG3 type of guy that isn't going to make it for the long haul. He is a hell of an athlete, but I just don't see him being a top level NFL qb.

Nothing matters until teams have 6-10 games of film on the QB.

I call it 'The Damon Huard Window", because no obviously shit QB I've ever seen performed so well, but then after his window was up? Shit.

Also Tommy Maddox Syndrome.

Some guys look really good until the depth of tape comes out...

This is correct. Deshaun is playing because the Texans have a dumpster fire QB situation. Pat has the luxury of sitting and learning from Smith.

But it's also interesting that as soon as Mahomes shows up, Smith is having the best season of his career by a long shot. Seems to have lit a fire under Alex's butt. Watson wouldn't be starting over Smith right now either, so the Draft question is a silly one.
