I hate Chris Jones

Honestly the Chiefs should either trade or cut this guy. If they could get some sort of compensation for him great. If not, hopefully they could release him, buy him out or something free up some cap money.

I don’t know how it all works with money and cap management. I’m definitely not knowledgeable or savvy in that regard but all I know is this dude needs to go.

Chiefs please get rid of him!

I don’t care if he is a good interior passrusher. He sucks at everything else. Can’t stop the run, and he is physically, mentally soft. I can’t tolerate his presence on the field at times. He is lazy and dogs it on lots of plays. There was one play against Derrick Henry last Sunday where he had a shot to tackle him when Henry chose to run between the guard and tackle and Jones didn’t even choose to FIGHT off the block and just like passively reached out and touched Henry and let him run by him.
That’s just totally unacceptable!

Now that was one play and that shouldn’t define the guy but it does speak high volumes of who he is IMO. Playing defense is about attitude and toughness most of the time and Jones doesn’t fit that bill. If he goes, I won’t miss him one bit.

He is not a good building block to rebuilding a good defense. He needs to go ASAP.

Kind of hilarious though, on one hand you bitch about the coaches and think nobody cares then you make the claim Jones is unhappy because all the organization cares about is results.
At least he has you happy about his stellar performance this year. That’s all that really matters.

It's like all of you people hating on Chris Jones and his contract are trying to act like he just signed his extension this off-season. He had a pretty stellar first year of his contract. He was 4th in QB pressures and only 1 away from being tied in 2nd with Aaron Donald and Joey Bosa. He was 3rd in QB knockdowns only behind TJ Watt and Carl Lawson. He also was a pro bowler, AP 2nd team all pro, and Sporting News 1st team all pro (based on the votes of the NFL head coaches).

So sure let's just act like last year didn't happen, because it pretty much eliminates the stupid "he cashed it in" theory. We are gonna judge if his contract was worth it based on 7 weeks of this season in which he's been injured pretty significantly. Having a bad wrist really really limits the abilities of a pass rusher.

I'm eagerly awaiting your rebuttal in which you write a lot, but say pretty much nothing. I'm sure it will question my intelligence and ignore the point of the post. I have a suggestion, maybe you can load it with examples of CJ utterly failing. If you actually put in those examples, then I believe the post will have a chance to have more substance than 99% of your other posts. It'll be the elite of the elite, a true one percenter.
Why would I waste my time, dilphag9?

Why should I gather the enormous amount of footage of Chris Jones doing **** all this season, and present it to the lead puffer of CJ's magical Peter?

I cannot fathom a larger waste of time.

I mean, you've already built in all of your excuses for your hero to boot. He's playing out of position, or he's just too hurt to do ANYTHING against one on one blocks from 2nd and 3rd string tackle talent.

This dude must have two broken wrists, a bruised and bleeding vagina, and has to be shambling around in a diabetic coma to be so utterly ineffective against such garbage blocking him this year.

If he wants to rest on his past accomplishments, he should retire.

The guy is doing an amazing Frank Clark impersonation this year. Taking money and providing Jack shit in return.

If you'd like examples of Jones being trash, I encourage you to watch his stand up comedy act in Baltimore. and then watch him take on two apparent locks for the hall of fame in the Charger game, and Titans game.

But we already know your response, don't we dilphag9.

He's out of position.

He's hurt.

It's not his fault he can't beat a one on one block from a scrub.

You can't really expect him to try to tackle the ball carrier with one good arm.

Lmmfao. This dude is a ****ing anchor around the neck of the defense.

If anyone can be fleeced into taking him and his bloated contract off our books, it needs to happen immediately.

I guess you can't fault the Chiefs though. It's not like they had ANY experience paying huge contracts to one player and then the player gets hurt and all that money sits on the sideline or is wasted on piss poor on field production.

Nope. This is the first time that ever happened.

CJ should have been traded instead of re signed to that ridiculous number. and instead of the highest paid worst defensive line in the league, the Chiefs probably have a couple more pieces on the team and are probably in better shape overall, and damn sure have more flexibility.

They're stuck right now. Can't cut, and nobody is dumb enough to trade for a guy playing this bad being paid that much.

Find a single post with me defending his play this season.

I think the biggest issue is they shouldn't have moved him outside, not that he just doesn't care or isn't trying.

I think he wanted to move outside but its clearly not working.

Don't you think that Jones wanted to move outside because he didn't think he would have to work as hard to get attention?

Inside guys have to work really hard, with very few accolades. They can be the key to a defense without the Fans or Media ever acknowledging their play. Jones wants attention, he doesn't want to grind away with no applause.

A blue-collar mentality is a must for interior linemen. That's not Jones.

Typical post from you providing absolutely nothing. Oh and the always hilarious calling me by a different username. Tap out acknowledged.

You're hate for Chris Jones is so ****ing weird. Just because you're dumbass was wrong about us signing him to an extension you have to come up with stupid shit to say to prove you were right and we shouldn't have signed him. It's ok to admit that you were wrong. It was a good signing and you're just gonna look dumber and dumber as the season goes on, but hey at least you have your insults.
