Denver will likely have a couple really bad years. I wonder if they will try to win now or will trade off some of their players like Jeudy/Surtain etc

I was worried he was going to go somewhere like the Chargers if they fired Staley that could actually threaten us.

The fact that he’s going to a dead end job like Denver is the best possible outcome for the Chiefs.

Saints had an elite defense mixed with a strong offense and still got knocked out of the playoffs by the likes of Vikings (twice?), Rams, & Tampa. Broncos are overpaying for both Russell & Payton.

I guess it makes sense that the broncos would want a coach who was suspended from the game for attempting to damage the integrity of the sport. He's a good cultural fit for them, following in elway's and bowlen's footsteps for that behavior.
