Offensive Tackles

I'm not going to overreact as it's only been 2 games but boy has their play has been meh at best. I'm not too worried about Taylor as I am Smith who looked like a declining player in Tampa. Everyone says it was because he was injured and maybe he still is but this has to get better if we're going to repeat as champs

BWillie is rarely wrong. He just brings you the truth you need to hear. You have all been blinded by homerism. We CAN still win the SB with these pieces of shit it is just harder.

Chiefsplanet told us that Deneric Prince was Barry Sanders. BWillie mocked because such views were while they werent even wearing pads.

Chiefsplanet told us that our WRs were a top group in the league. BWillie was skeptical.

Chiefsplanet believes Travis Kelce is immortal and nothing to be concerned about leaning on a 34 yr TE to make every catch. Gets injured before season starts.

Chiefsplanet believes Kadarius Toney is the next Tyreek Hill. BWillie points out how hes never been good before.

Chiefsplanet believs Andy Reid to be a demigod and noone can ever question one thing he does. BWillie tells u short yardage would be an issue before it became and issue and here we are.

Chiefsplanet at least until the last year of his contract thought OBJ was the answers to our oline prayers. BWillie pointed out how he was not well suited for our offense and wasn't actually very good and we should not resign.

I have only been wrong once in my life. And that is that Richie James would be a big part of this offense. And hell he might have been if he wasn't injured as we come to find out. I am the prophet, the omnipotent one, the great knowing. I am like Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding. It is a gift. I cannot control it; the great crystal ball that I am. Years from now league circles and scholars will posthumously dub me a modern day Nostradamous.
Can you show me a single honest non-kidding post from anybody on this forum that stated any of the things you claimed "Chiefsplanet" said?

They're young. It's GOING to be fine. By the time the playoffs come around, we'll win some games BECAUSE of some of these kids, not despite.

People that don’t think this VERY talented WR group will improve with experience just don’t get it.

Things are going to start clicking with Mahomes and this group in the coming weeks snd by the time the playoffs are here, this has a chance to be a lethal group.

None of those things were ever consensus, ever

Direkshun is not CP.

This WR corps is young with loads of talent but is inexperienced. You're looking at it like this is the finished product. It's not. Anyone expecting that was not being realistic.

I am as bullish as anyone on this group, but I understood and said many times that there was going to be a growing process. I also said many times that this could be a top 5 defense, and combination by late in the year would be deadly.

Did Reid mention after the game why Taylor was benched again?

I understand the refs were picking on him, but the Chiefs were up like 40 when that happened.

I can’t get into Reid’s head but given how he relentlessly defended Taylor it was either to prevent injury and give young guys reps, or it was to give taylor a mental break knowing the refs were targeting him. Most likely both.

I’m guessing he will sternly address the league and put him in a place where he doesn’t have to worry about this shit anymore.

He got rat ****ed on at least one, perhaps both, of those calls.

I'm just tired of this crap. I'm tired of seeing Karlaftis get BLATANTLY held in the end-zone right in front of an official and it goes uncalled only for them to throw a flag on Taylor because they couldn't actually TELL if he was lined up far enough (since he was covered by the WR).

I'm tired of watching the Jags just rape our DL on every single snap and go a an entire game without a penalty while Taylor gets boned on a simple push that makes a huge impact in the drive.

We're being officiated unfairly and it's getting really goddamn old. Clark and Andy need to be in someone's ear about this because it's absolutely ridiculous and as near as I can tell, completely unprecedented.

Oh, and tell that mother****er Collinsworth that he has ZERO access this week. Nothing, not a moment. Any league mandated interviews are met with one-word answers. That one who sucks the penis should be a non-entity to this organization for as long as Taylor is rostered. He should be dead to them.

Because this is completely unacceptable. Our OTs are playing FANTASTIC football, especially for what it is we want them to do (Pass pro) and they are being talked about more because of penalties and some bizarre league mandated witch hunt. This ain't okay. This isn't a time that Clark needs to Protect the Shield like the good soldier he's always been.

He needs to scorch the ****ing earth. This cannot continue.

What message? "You need to actually be MORE legal than every other player in football?"

This isn't on Taylor at this point. The holding calls were horrid. The procedure calls are MAYBE correct based on the strict letter of the law (and maybe not; really hard to tell) but they're certainly not something that's being called against anyone else.

Meanwhile Chris Jones gets punched in the face 4 times/wk with no flag.

The 'message' needs to be sent to the league office. This is absolute bullshit and its absurd that people are riding Taylor for it.

Reid sounded plenty annoyed in the post-game and it didn't seem to me that it was Taylor he was annoyed with.

He's as tired of this crap as we are.
