****OFFICIAL Chiefs vs Bills AFC Championship Gameday Thread****

The people of earth once believed their world was flat.

Columbus proved it was round!

They said the sound barrier could never be broken!

It was broken.

We have been chosen to undertake the greatest adventure of all time.

The discovery of the Threepeat.

Our destination is New Orleans.

Which lies beyond the AFC Championship.

Is it possible?

Are we dreaming?

If we are...then life is a dream.

Re-watching the regular season meeting got my surprisingly optimistic. It was at the Bills, the Chiefs lost the toss, were missing Omenihu, Jaylen Watson, Hollywood Brown and they were playing Wanya at LT and it was a close back and forward game.

The Chiefs shut down the Bills run game very effectively, then could not get off the field on 3rd and long. I don't think that happens again.

Here's some stuff I want to predict

More formations with Kelce and/or Worthy coming out of the back field, for chunk plays

Hollywood goes off

The return of the Chenal at FB package goaline package

A touchdown for JJSS out of a redzone package where he ends up wide open.

Watching the all-22 Worthy was open a ton! I could see him and Brown going off on this secondary. The oline has been getting great work against the best d-line in the league. Buffalo’s D-line is a step down. We start fast and take away the Bills run game like we did against the Ravens last year! 28-17 CHIEFS

Sorry, but Columbus didn't prove anything.

There was this dude named Magellan.

How does that incompetent pansy ever get credit for anything other than scamming the King & Queen of Spain?

ALL THIS

The Bills aren't facing the same team today as they beat back then.

I am actually quite optimistic esp with our offense against that defense. I think we can actually run the ball on them and beat them deep on some shots.

My two biggest concersn are actuall Cook, who we did shut down before but that doesn't always mean anything. And Allen outside the pocket. He seems to make the most miraculous throws outside the pocket of anyone I've seen. Including Pat.

Lot of factors go into this, but some of it - I think - comes back to their lines losing that extra half-second advantage you get playing at home.
Another layer to this is that the Bills won the turnover battle 13 times and tied four times.

Chiefs are gonna win but that being said I think eventually Allen wins one, but I don't think this is the year. The Bills need us to have turnovers but this team is going to be focused and execute well and I think they have a clean game. I think both teams are playing with house money. I think this game might be an all-timer

Chiefs win 31-24, on a 4th quarter Kelce TD to tie Rice's record.
