all of us had every right to go full Pete today

but the Royals, the most resilient ****ing team in baseball history, showed us once again ... they aren't done until the ump signals the 27th out

even in WS Game 7 ... they fought until the last damn pitch

Love this team.

Don't defend yourself. I am as optimistic as they come with this team and I conceded defeat. No way that should have happened.

Just goes to show you what kind of fight these core guys have. Amazing.

Yeah, you can't say a fan has given up unless they stop watching the game. You can honestly assess how terrible the team has played so far and how unlikely a win is, but by staying with the game, you are basically saying "damn, this sucks, but there's still a chance, I guess".
