Fisher is far from fine not even close actually.

Noted, Captain exaggeration.

Fisher according to Cp was supposed to be an outright disaster. He has proven this season to be a serviceable starter.

Fisher needs to be a probowler by next season.

Does anyone see that happening? I don't.

Didn't say it wasn't. Your take of why, however, wants me to get a hammer and a nail and drive it into my skull.

Why? I've always said he would never be worth the pick.

Almost everyone on Cp said he was garbage and would never improve. Polarization planet at its best. But these people will move the uprights by using the 1.1 argument instead of admitting they were wrong. I think most people can see now Fisher will probably at least be at least solid but unspectacular.

You certainly aren't going to have Tamba or Houston Spy on Kaep, and without DJ to do HIS job, and JMJ/Mauga completely in capable of running Kaep down, why not ford on certain packages? He's athletic enough and fast enough to run him down.

Very, very reasonable.

That's just a cover, I bet. Woozy or not, that was a blatant misread of a play action that certainly should have been ruled out when he saw downfield blockers with no misdirection from a receiver on that side of the formation.

And I think that's what was being yelled when he flipped and realized he read play action instead of run, despite evidence to the contrary.

How about shades of Tamba, DJ, and Houston? Remember how much we RAGGED on Hali when he was a young guy trying to learn how to play run defense because he was nothing but a situational pass rusher with a quick first step? Sounds exactly like Ford to me. And tamba missed a LOT of tackles early on, and made a LOT of coverage mistakes as well. Houston? He picked things up a lot faster than Tamba did, but he was god awful in the run game at first, and you simply could NOT ask him to cover anything but a lineman because he was so out of position on EVERY play. Looks pretty ****ing good now.

And DJ? Lets talk about DJ for a moment. Who got relegated to 2nd team because he had a "bad attitude" and "couldn't tackle" and was a "liability in coverage".

Look what happened to him, he's like a perennial pro bowl ILB/MLB now, despite his injury.

What did they all have in common? For starters, they almost all started as rookies or eventually became starters once they sped up to the gameplay of the NFL. They, of course, were all drafted by the Chiefs, too. On top of that, they all had an issue with run support/defense and gradually learned how to make the transition into run defenders. The NFL has some big, fast, and tough linemen, and there's a whole lot more going on "upstairs" in the heads of the coordinators to fool you. Dee ford, though not the brightest candle, has probably the best "blind ambition" to be "good" in the NFL, over any rookie drafted this year except for CJ Mosley who is a ****ing stud and I mentioned that we should move up and draft him this year, now look what happened.

Regardless, he's a total Lawrence Taylor type. He's dumb, athletic, quick, and he's hungry. Dee Ford is eventually going to kick it up to the next level, and when he does? Watch the **** out.

Apparently neither did the rest of our defensive line!

Frank Gore had acres of space Sunday (18 rushes for 107 yards). Gore wasn't contacted on his average rush until almost 5 yards (4.8) beyond the line of scrimmage.
