I still disagree with so much of the negativity around here, but i could never argue the urgency... successful teams have been built, deconstructed & rebuilt 9 times over since KC's last playoff win... thats a hard one for even the most ardent homer to wrap his head around.

It better really start taking form in 2010 Halioli...

You can turn things around quickly when you get the proper people in place...we have probably the worst DC in the league and don't even have an OC.

I think it has been shown that teams can turn around a dud in just a year of work. The Dolphins last year did it, Falcons too. This year, The Donks, and Bengals have made a big turnaround.

Bengals one is a little deceiving, their record was so bad because Palmer basically didn't play last year.

I agree, but the comeback of Carson, and Cedric Benson is pretty crazy.

Yeah, i'm no particular Teddy Pendergast fan either... his AZ D was far too inconsistent considering its talent IMO.

The Falcons weren't hamstrung by 10 years of inept management; they were a talented team who had to deal with their franchise QB being arrested for dogfighting and having a HC who was a doucherocket quitter.

They had actual TALENT to speak of. The Chiefs have Bowe, Colquitt and Flowers

But they were also smart enough to draft their own QB.

The Falcons made a lot of smart moves.

Looking at the Falcons schedule they have a pretty good shot of NOT making the playoffs. After losing tonight if the playoffs started tomorrow they would be out

For the moment but the Packers schedule gets tough..the Bears are up and down same for Dallas.

Right now the only teams I'm for sure are making it are Eagles, Vikings and Saints.

Packers aren't even in at this point. The NFC East has 3 teams. The Giants have been struggling but I think they will get it turned around.

I don't, losing Kenny Phillips killed them. Their safeties are brutal, Webster is a solid CB but all you have to do is throw down the middle on them. Any team that is good will attack their back 7 there's no way they can fix it with their personnel either.
