Chiefs QB Matt Cassel underwent an appendectomy this morning, according to a league source. Big question mark for Sunday now.

Don't mean to call you out, Moron, but what part of "minimal stitching, no scalpel cuts" did you not get? Reading Is ****ing Fundamental. Laparoscopic is a tiny hole, a few sutures, which is quite a far cry from using a scalpel to cut through layers of skin, fat, and muscle tissue.

Yeah, I'd have preferred see him start the season, but now is not the time. Dance with you brung ya and this is a very important game. Croyle's insertion will not help the cause and he's not likely to help a playoff run as this team runs an offense designed around Cassel's flaws. It isn't just going to shift to a downfield attack because Croyle can throw farther.

If there's an upside, it's that we'll get to see what Croyle can do. I hope he excels, but it doesn't really matter because he'll still end up back on the bench or elsewhere next season.

The Good Ship Croyle has sailed.

Doctors told me 2 weeks off my feet if possible and no driving. I was running up the apartment stairs 2 days after surgery. Granted the day of and the day after surgery I hurt like hell and didn't want to walk.
