Was the Blackout Successful ?

I'm glad to see how many people this site reached and how much black was in the stands today. I'm proud to be part of a group of fans who WILL make a difference.

Thank you to all who have done the hard-work planning and putting this together.

It's tough to say. I've certainly not heard of anything similar, but then we may be biased just by the fact that we're involved here.

Basically it was social media taking to traditonal media. Social meida > banner > traditonal media. Ball got rolling here, then took the radio, print and tv. Just shows the power of social media in today's society.

The Chiefs have tried to paint the CP and SOC movement as a small band of malcontents, who just like to hear their own voice as they bitch about everything and anything.

Actually, the group that pisses me off is the exact opposite, the sheeple that follow the Chiefs "no matter what," and show up and rah rah at Chiefs Kingdom Radio show every week.

I hope on tomorrow night's show, they mix up a big 55-gallon drum of Kool-Aid and do a Jonestown impersonation.

'Put the Hammer Down" you morons.

I totally agree, Mr. Ugly Duck. (Although, I must admit I feel a little dirty doing so.)

I am extremely proud of the guys here at ChiefsPlanet. They have accomplished something truly meaningful and profound and they've done it with class and grace and sincerity ... and most of all, out of love for their team.

It's been a fascinating process to observe.

If they don't like the signs, it'd be cool next week to hand out blank papers of some bright color to people in specific seats with instructions to hold them up at the two-minute warning. If you were really organized, you could spell out "Fire Pioli" on a stadiumwide level. It'd probably be hard to pull off, though.

I sure hope Fece and Save Our Fans are feeling like worthless, cowardly, pathetic, ignorant wastes of space tonight...

Fat lot of good they have done for this team.
