Injiuries are generally why players fall in the draft or aren't drafted at all.

Priest was undrafted due to a torn ACL. The NFL was right because he was continually injured and his career cut short.

The same can be said for Terrell Davis, who was a 6th round pick whose career was cut short by injury.

I can't believe people are this quick to pull the trigger on Charles. A few years ago people thought Knile Davis was a starter quality RB. Now West and Ware are such a sure thing that people want to trade away a guy that made up 80% of the offense 2 years ago?

Charles' contract isn't holding this team back, and the Chiefs are better with him. I respect that they played well last year without him, but I'm not convinced they are better without him.

I honestly dont recall many people at all claiming Davis to be starting caliber. A lot of people hated the pick because he was a chronic fumbler and broke dick college player. A few here and there got boners from perfect blocking that allowed him to have a couple good games where he could run in a straight line, but mostly everyone seemed to think he was a career backup. Only recently have people started to catch on with the emergence of West and Ware, showing that it's not just Charles being one of the best in the game when healthy, and started to remove their beer goggles to see Davis for the garbage he's always been.
