Chiefs interested in Jarvis Landry

https://nfltraderumors.co/browns-hig...eams-to-watch/

Thoughts on this one? Mahomes has never had a WR like Landry. He and Kelce would feast together in the intermediate passing game. Interesting.

Again - give me ANYTHING but declaratory statements. I’ve provided actual support here. You’re just asking me to believe he’s the player he was 5 years ago all evidence to the contrary.
Rich commentary from "he just runs more efficient, diverse routes" which is a pure declaratory statement.

Entirely possible you dont know jack and shit then too! Justin Jefferson had the best start to a career arguably ever. Would not surprise me whatsoever if Jameson Williams tears the league up if drafted by the right team. Drake London could very well be the next Mike Evans. Garrett Wilson could be the next elite route runner. Treylon Burks could be the next elite swiss army knife i.e. Deebo.

When the offense was humming at its peak under Mahomes and Reid they had a couple more weapons in Kareem Hunt and Sammy Watkins.

It’s amazing that people here see Travis Kelce find open spots in zone coverage every week and are in awe of it but don’t want a WR is also good at that. There’s a ton of value in that skill and also in Landry’s route running.

Robinson and Pringle aren’t good at any one thing. Pringle is better than than Robinson bc Robinson just sucks. Pringle is a decent complimentary weapon. He doesn’t really **** anything up.

Landry is very good running routes and getting open. Also has solid hands. There’s a ton of value in that especially since every team is going to play zone coverage in cover 2/3 next year against us

You know how this works right?

You START with a declaratory statement and then provide supporting arguments.

See the former isn’t the problem - it’s your complete lack of the latter.

Nope. I claimed he had productive seasons when he wasn't dragged down by a totally broken Baker Mayfield.

That's a fact. Look at his 2020 production. Try again.

He has produced more than a never was Byron Pringle. Another fact.

Now post some facts about your route tree bullshit.

I’d love a WR that is good at it. Landry isn’t.

What’s amazing to me is that someone can be shown over and over again that he doesn’t catch a high rate of his targets, doesn’t gain significant yardage when he does catch it and then STILL compare him to Travis Kelce.

Again - if he were good at running routes and getting open it would show up somewhere . And I’ve invited you and others to show me where. And none of you are doing so.

He’s a myth. He wasn’t great when he was making pro bowls and he’s a shell of that apex anyway.

Sure could. Ill take my chances feeding Mahomes and Reid elite playmakers though. Im all for building an elite defense and applying resources to do so Id just prefer we use free agency and the rest of the draft to do so. No wide receivers in the free agent pool excite me.

I think we can all agree that if we acquired Landry tomorrow our receiver room would be improved. The question is would that improvement be worth the roster spot and money spent to get him here given the other opportunities that may be available?

And I said he’s nothing more than a high volume stat padder who you’d need to give him 100 targets for 750 yards and 65 catches, didn’t I?

In 2020 he had 101 targets for 840 yards and 72 catches. He’s now 2 years older and coming off injury. I’d say my projections are a more than reasonable projection.

And it’s incredibly easy to duplicate. That’s my point - he wasn’t GOOD back when he was good. What you’re emphasizing as his highlight year is 2 years and about 10% better than what I projected for him.

And? He’s a JAG.

I don't think so. Some people legit think Byron Pringle is better lmao

I think it would depend on the money spent and the role he was given. If they got him for about half of what the Browns have him for and let him work primarily out of the slot, it could work.

Would still want to look around for a long term #2 option, but he would be fine as a chain mover on a prove it deal.

He was good. Not elite.

You're simply a ****ing moron. Fin. But do suck your own dick about how a multi-time thousand yard receiver is practically the same as career high 563 yarder Byron Pringle.

And others are comparing him to Travis Kelce.

Guess we all have our crosses to bear.

Stellar rebuttal.

Pretty much fits your ‘he’s good because I said so’ approach.
