man i've never seen such hardcore love for the chiefs from just about everyone

the computer will come around before december hits

look at the bottom right side of that column

that's five more wins for us

at the very, very worst we finish 13-4

Chiefs are weird...they are obviously one of the best teams in the NFL but they go through these strange periods where something does not work...and its not just that it does not work it does not work AT ALL.

I have some concerns a bad matchup and being in the hole too much in a game we do not adjust well to will catch us.

But the other teams have their bullshit as well so game on.

If all teams are playing at their best it is the Chiefs no doubt.

Same here. I had them winning 12. I think they could realistically win 14 now.

Agreed, and kudos to Veach/fate/the football gods for basically forcing him to utilize rookies and other younger players.

That’s gonna pay off for this team quicker than expected. One thing Spags and Merritt do very well is coach up DBs. We have one 1st round DB on this roster, McDuffie and two 2nd rounders (Thornhill and Cook). The majority of this secondary are lower round draft picks and yet they play well above their draft position. It’s amazing to see.

Imagine being any of these other teams chasing us.

Back in March it was “They traded Tyreek Hill?! Down year incoming. No way they will be this good and their defense isn’t that great.”

The Bills went all in with Von Miller, the Broncos went all in with Russel Wilson, the Chargers with Khalil Mack and JC Jackson and the Raiders with Davante Adams and Chandler Jones.

And now we are the number 1 seed, again. 5 years in a row as the 1 seed if the playoff started today.

The Elway years sucked. The Manning and Brady years sucked. But this is different. None of those teams were this dominant.

The only team I can think of that is even close to being as dominant in their conference was the 1990-1993 Bills who won’t he conference 4 years in a row

It's the Chiefs by a lot.

The only way the Chiefs lose is by stepping on their own dick.

If we had controlled what we could control, we're undefeated.

1. Skyy Moore handing the Colts a TD, and Chris Jones running his mouth after he won us the game handed them one last chance to win, and they took it and ran.

2. Andy coaching down to his competition, calling the same scared ass football McDerpit was playing, not taking his 3 points resulting in a turnover in the endzone, and Butker missing a fg he's good for in the same game he bombed a 62 yarder. Missed an extra point that would have had us playing for 3 instead of 7 at the end with a minute left. 7 points left on the field in a game lost by 4.

The gauntlet has been run. Hardest 8 game opening stretch in NFL history for a team playing 8 straight teams with winning records and/or playoff appearance the previous year. 6-2 in that run and without the self dick stomping they're undefeated there.

Weaker part of the schedule, the guys are getting comfortable in the schemes on both sides of the ball, and Toney looks like he could be a real problem for opponents sooner than later.

KC is looking as scary as they ever have.

It's Chiefs and there is not a close 2nd. I love Andy but if the Chiefs don't win the SB he absolutely has to go, that is how much better we are than any other team.

Totally agree with this guy here. 7-2 record and no way have the Chiefs played there best ball with much consistency yet. On top of that, teams like the Eagles, Vikings, 49ers, Dolphins all have really good records and yet, I don't believe any of them beat KC. The road to a championship is easier than its been a quite a few years.
