Honestly I don’t think they will need Flowers to beat Buffalo. I fully expect them to do to Buffalo what they did to the Steelers.

I think Buffalo is capable of playing the run well if you're determined to run it 40 times.

If the Ravens come out and try to Martyball this game they will lose.

He spends something like $250K a year on maintaining peak condition. It’s crazy, but it allows him to dominate even this late in the year. 31 year old RBs should not be finishing a slight bit under 2,000 yards in the regular season.

The Ravens have had plenty of games with Flowers not doing a whole lot including the Bills game in which he had one catch on two targets for 10 yards. Him being out isn’t really a big deal in this game. He’s not a blocker. Doesn’t get a lot of timing or precision passing his way that Lamar relies on. Agholor is plenty capable of running around finding space while Lamar makes time. Not as often or effectively as Flowers but still capable. The Ravens will win or lose on Henry and Lamar running and passes to the TEs as the staple of the offense.

McDermott brings extra guys up and run blitzes.


So the Baltimore offense needs to have a counter to that ready.

Part of it is also being in that offense. Their OC does a great job of confusing the defense, and both him and Lamar have the ability to burn you if you chase the wrong player.
