Earl Thomas a longshot to be a Chief

They just said on ESPN we were on the list of teams that he could be dealt to.

I don't have a twitter account but if one of you does, you should go roast Mellinger and tell him how obtuse he is being.

The whole worrying about next year's cap is typical Chiefs fan crap, too.

If you bring in Earl Thomas, you have a shot to win it all THIS YEAR.

If the Chiefs win a Super Bowl this year and keep guys like Mahomes and Hill, they're setup for now AND the future.

Chris Jones is not an essential piece. Quite frankly neither is Fuller.

Chris Jones isn't getting a huge contract. What has he done to earn a top 10 contract so far?

His interviews to this point are better than this play...he had that game against the Eagles last year...

this is the thing that makes me laugh the most about my friends who are chiefs fans. Why the **** do we care so much about the cap? Its not our money, we barely understand it as a fan. Let the guys who have been hired to deal with this make that decision.

Because he's a Chief. He isn't even the best CB on the team right now.

Meh. People think I'm talking about my personal preference. I'm talking what the Chiefs are realistically going to do in this situation. Terez Paylor has basically insinuated we aren't interested at the current asking price, so it's a waiting game now.

It's pretty bad a guy writing for the Star doesn't understand something simple like guys like Fuller and Jones are replaceable they are not franchise cornerstones.

It's not like this is Jalen Ramsey, if it was I'd be like yea can't not pay him.

Because Chief fans have been conditioned to believe that the cap is a barrier to building a team when in reality, it was a team philosophy.

When this team has decided to actually go get free agents, they've spent a ton of money and the cap generally hasn't been an issue.

Terez annoys me...he thinks the Chiefs are an 8 win team that should be playing for next year, he's said that like 20 times.
