I would like to invite any Mizzou fan that would like to a free pass to jump on the Wazzu bandwagon. The only requirements are that you drink like a fish and hate anything with the colors purple and pee.

We have like half your former coaching staff anyway so it would be an easy transition.

Racial tensions have been on the rise at KU as well. While I hesitate to say that things are at the level as they are at Columbia, people of color are routinely targeted on Lawrence's YikYak. While Lawrence and KU believe the "free state" mantra is integral to their identities, last year's student senate elections also put a spotlight on the institutional bottlenecks that are facing the students of color at KU. (Senate candidates need 500 signatures to run for office, need the backing of on campus institutions - which are almost always limited to fraternities or sororities, etc).

The students I know in the BSU have been quite inspired by the civic activism of Missouri's student body, and it wouldn't surprise me if the issue of race became a central focus on KU's campus over the next few weeks.

I think a lot of is Columbia has grown quite a bit. Population has just boomed the last decade. You watch the local news and it seems like there is always a shooting. And 99.9% of the time its hood trash.

From what I can tell the O-line have been on strike for many weeks.

So if the dude gets fired for not being outraged enough, will these children actually start playing? IOW, might we see a decent showing from the football and basketball teams, or will they still suck at their given trade?
