Dalton forgot a much less important point and way at the end of the presentation. AND I never wanted him as our first rounder anyway. You guys want Geno Smith AT THE TOP OF DRAFT. There's a hell of a lot of difference between our arguments here.

If Geno is available early in the 2nd like Andy was, by all means, let's get him. Right now though, I'm still dubious of using the top draft pick on him. Sorry. I really WAS hoping and expecting that the combine and the Mariucci interview would put me at ease about him. They haven't.

The red zone concept is the MOST important point. Much more important than the 3rd read before checkdown.

And spare me with the rest of it. Just admit that NOTHING he would have done would have been enough for you. Don't lie about it.

He nailed the drills and by all reports, the Chiefs walked away from the interview VERY impressed.
