I think we're not connecting here. I too feel campus racism occurs everywhere. My ie comes from the administration bowing to ludicrous demands this painting an outstanding university in an unfair light...

You're just totally disconnected, because you know nothing about the overall situation in Columbia.

They've been ****ing over students for many other reasons also and MU needs major change.

The president was totally out of touch and needed to go. He quit, the protest is over.

They had many demands and almost none of them will be met. They were mostly ridiculous, by design, to get national attention on this story.

They didn't anticipate the narrative being mostly negative against them, because well off Caucasian people dislike these kinds of things and began to square off against the media they desired.

Everyone's frustration was hooked to this group because they were pissed enough to knock some shit over and people wanted to use that to show they are mad at the system abd really could not give any less of a shit if Tim Wolfe gave them a handwritten, not typed, apology letter or not.
