As I live in Vancouver...and we are hosting the world..let me say good luck to all the American athletes....I'll be cheering for Americans' Vonn and that red-headed snowboard dude...but Hockey...gotta be Canada. Enjoy!

I'm always into the Olympics. Record all day and then catch up at night. Makes for a rough couple of weeks, sleep wise, but it's worth it. Really love the Biathlon and Cross Country events. Told my wife, that if Jessie Diggins comes calling, it's been a great run and it's nothing personal.

Ayumu Hirano just put down one of the best halfpipe runs I’ve ever seen and he got a 2nd place score. This might be one of the worst judges decisions in the history of the Olympics. Hopefully it doesn’t rob him of the gold. He definitely earned it. It almost seems like they’re keeping it low just for Shaun White to be able to beat his score on his final run.

The only thing I can think of was they didn’t like the amplitude. But the mf’er landed a ****ing triple.

Or Chinese government trying to hurt a Japanese guy. Really bad blood between those countries. Anyone think Olympic judges cannot be corrupted?

Justice for Hirano on the 3rd run. He crushed it and they rewarded him with the Gold.

Thankfully he nailed that again and they got a chance to correct it. The American judge was just hopeful that Shaun White could pull off a massive final run I think and knew even a massive run at his age couldn’t beat a 96. It’s a bad look for that judge for sure. Thankful it ended up not costing him an Olympic gold. That was a really impressive run. To do it twice with the pressure on was even more impressive.

Meh, all worked out in the end. Aren’t the lowest and highest scores canceled anyway? So the US score didn’t count…….just not a great look

The half-pipe last night was the best watch of the Olympics so far. I'm glad the kid nailed his third run to get the gold. He definitely deserved it. I love the fact that all the boarders go for gold and don't really care if they fall. Nobody seems to take a safe run for bronze.

NBC’s Winter Olympics Ratings Are Heading Toward a Historic Low

An average of 12.3 million nightly viewers per day have watched the Winter Olympics on Comcast Corp.’s NBCUniversal TV and streaming channels through Feb. 8. That compares with about 23 million viewers at the same point for the 2018 games in PyeongChang, South Korea, according to an NBC spokesman.

NBC anticipated about 40% fewer viewers than four years ago and cut its ad rates by a similar amount, according to people familiar with the matter. The network was trying to avoid what happened during the Tokyo games last summer, when the ratings fell below what it had guaranteed. That hurt NBC’s potential revenue because the broadcaster had to give additional commercial time to advertisers to make up for the shortfall.
