You can add a few more if you tske away the games where he only played a couple of plays and shut it down.

Sammy has one last chance to play a game in a Chiefs uniform. Let's see if he does

Cole Beasley played with a broken fibula while Sammy couldn't get himself back on the field after 4 weeks of recovery from a minor calf strain.
And the Chiefs have barely missed him. |

Offer him a vet minimum contract next year. Take it or leave it.

There's a lower ceiling with Pringle, but I would take his consistency over Watkins going forward. Part with Watkins as soon as its not overly detrimental to the cap.

Done with the Watkins.
He must have been drinking from Erik Berrys glass. Pringle is young and developing. I will rely on him. Watkins is unreliable.

Except for the concussion, I can’t say that I’ve actually seen Sammy get injured during a game. Seems like it always mysteriously happens in practice.

If Watkins doesn't play against Tampa then he doesn't even deserve a ring if we win. Playing doesn't seem to be important in Watkins at all, or he would push harder to play. 37 rec for 421 yards this year (more than I expected) We need the money used on Watkins to fix our Oline. We should draft another WR to upgrade over Robinson, Hardman, and Watkins. It will be really nice to have a tall guy opposite of Hill to pull some safety attention. Sammy Watkins has a bigger cap number than Allen Robinson this year. Ugh. |

I expect the Chiefs to take a receiver fairly early in the draft and sign a cheap vet.
The Fisher injury makes the offseason much more challenging. It’s one thing to replace 1 OT, but 2 is going to be tough. Hopefully the organization feels confident in Niang stepping it at one of the tackle spots. That’ll help a lot.

I'm not sure I'd even do that. The money would be right, but he'd just be taking up a roster spot while not playing most of the time. That spot could be devoted to developing a young guy for the future.
