It's irresponsible for TMZ but I guess it's TMZ so what do you expect.

1) It's not DV. They weren't in any sort of relationship or involved romantically--just met. It matters in terms of charges/suspensions etc.

2) She appears to be the instigator and if she didn't get in his face and swing and connect then it was over. He understandably gets upset and love taps her on the ground with his foot. It really wasn't even a kick.

3) allegedly dropping N bombs at Hunt during this.


The NFL/Chiefs and police investigated this when it happened. They did not suspend him. if they choose to now then I highly doubt it will be more than a game or so.

I tell ya what - Kareem has good friends. The one friend took her phone - wanted to make sure wasn't anything incriminating on there I'm sure. They are trying to hold him back as much as they can. They give as good of an excuse as they can give to the cops.

Clearly he was drunk disorderly and assaulted that woman. The woman may have been acting like a bitch & was clearly drunk as well - but it appears he could have easily went into his room and he was quite an instigator.

The funny thing is, the video doesn't show ANYTHING people didn't already know back in February. The problem is that 80% of the people blowing up over this video never read anything about it. They can't even actually be bothered to read just watch videos.

Yeah, that's not good. No matter what the situation he pushed her first. And the kick, while not brutal, was over the top. He should have walked away long before that. It is probably not much different than a lot of domestic calls the police get and didn't necessarily warrant an arrest. But as a man, you have to be better than that and Kareem wasn't. His conduct in that video is indefensible.

That said, the public perception is going to be bad and the outcry will become a distraction for the team. I think this is going to be an issue for the rest of the season as long as he plays. I don't think it is a career ender but he will be viewed in a different light by the fans and will have to endure a lot of verbal abuse from opposing teams' fans.

I think there is the potential for a long suspension, eight games or more, just because of the visuals. Only thing in his favor is her aggression toward him. Still no excuse, just walk away.
