Seattle getting another attempt at beating KC's noise record

Just saw it on the local news here that they are getting another shot at it again this season and are targeting their monday night game against NO. Sounds pretty lame to me that they are already getting another shot at it.

Doesn't really matter who is loudest, just that you're loud enough to cause confusion. There are several crowds which can achieve that. The whole thing is a farse though. It's really, really stupid. I've felt that way the entire time and I haven't wavered in that opinion.

Was there any doubt that Seattle would get it tonight?
If Guinness returned to Kansas City, we'd have it right back even if we had an entire stadium of mutes.

With all the buildup, Guinness doesn't want to disappoint by saying "Close, but no cigar...".

I don't understand the hipsters who are too cool to be happy that Arrowhead and the Chiefs fans got some great publicity for setting this record. The best case will be if Seattle tries and fails to reclaim it, but I doubt that happens. Even if Seattle does reclaim the record, Arrowhead will still be recognized by a wider group of NFL fans as a loud stadium with a great fanbase because of this record than would have without it.
Wrapped up in it? WTF. I want it to go away. We were louder than the RAider game yesterday vs. the Broncos. WE don't need Guiness to confirm shit. PLUS, yesterday was NATURAL and not manufactured.

Thats the defeatist "I'm satisfied with 2nd place" attitude from a Chiefs fan I know and love.

Do you think they magically just got loud enough to win by .01 decibels? I don't even give you shit over the Raiders anymore. Look forward to a day when it's worth the effort. Genuinely. No schtick needed. You're a good guy, and one of these days your team will actually be a worthy adversary again. Hopefully. Denver is getting way too much hate from our fanbase, most of whom are too young to remember why we hate the Raiders as much as we do. It's been that long since they've been relevant.

Seriously I could care less about the noise, I was just trying to ruffle some feathers before I get up and do these 600 miles I have ahead of me

Yeah, and I don't know why you ruffled mine. I get your angle, and it amuses me most of the time. The fact that you had to remind me makes me feel foolish. Hope you have a great day!

Says you and others who feel as you do. You can feel how you want about it. Just don't assign your rationale as the standard because its not. There are thousands who feel different from you and I'm proud to be in that crowd. Guess what? We're all Chiefs fans!
