Will Pioli make a move for Brandon Marshall?

I say no the golfer couldn't handle him.

Discuss.

sad thing is we could have executed that deal and added a pick to the asking price before the draft last year with ease

You have this perception that we all hate colorful WRs.

I don't believe that to be true.

I would take Ocho Cinco or Brandon Marshall any day.

Both are guys, while colorful and controversial in many ways, that give thier all on the field and seem to be guys that teammates both admire and respect.

I don't want a randy Moss because he's whiney bitch that quits when things aren't going well.

I don't want Terrell Owens because he's a guy that divides the locker room.

But Marshall, while sometimes a distraction off the field, is not a quitter or a locker room cancer.

I'd take him in a heartbeat.

I can assure you that he is a cancer to some degree in the lockerroom.

Did you see his sideline deal with Moreno?

The way he acted while at camp?

Heard about his multiple run ins with the law about domestic disputes?

If he isnt a "cancer" he surely is a big "distraction"

If he could be had for the second of our two 2nd rounders or less, Id do it, but honestly I would rather hold onto our picks it would take in a trade and groom our own kids.

Teams dont just sit elite players just to sit them. He obviously did something in regards to telling the team he isnt practicing or something similar for McD to bench him in a game they need to win to have any shot at staying in the playoff picture.

You can assure me?

When his teammates start showing some signs that they have a problem with him, then I'll be convinced that he's a cancer.

To this point, they seem to be behind him.

As to the situation with Moreno, I have no problem with a player showing some emotion and telling his teammate, who I believe had fumbled twice in the game, to get his head into the game.

As to the benching, the coach, no matter how good or bad, has no real idea as to the extent of an injury, and the only person that does have any true idea is the injured player.

Disciplinary benching because a player doesn't want to practice with an injury isn't the smartest thing in the world.

Count me among those who said 'no way i want that POS', yet it would be easy for me to change my tune based on his undeniable talent & production.

But... would he be a good clubhouse presence? could he emotionally handle a struggling team? if he's acting out on a team on the cusp of the playoffs, how could he be expected to rein it in on a team that went 3-13/4-12 the previous year?

I'm sure no one who said they didnt want him is blind to his talent, but lets not deny his obvious issues.
