Have Moss go long but tell Cassel he's running a five yard hook route. He'll accidentally hit Moss in stride 40 yards downfield.

If they claim him yes, but they also pick up his contract, where if no one claims him Minnesota has to pick it up then he can sign wherever he chooses for whatever the offer is.

There is no signing. He's already signed his contract. First team in line to sign him gets his contract. If he clears waivers, he's a FA and Minn is on the hook for his contract.

Randy felt the Pats weren't respecting him by not offering him a new contract. But both sides knew that Randy wanted more than the Pats would be willing to commit. So Moss moved on to Minnesota, took one look around the locker room and at Childress, and realized, "Holy shit, it's horrible here." He realized that Childress is a suck-ass coach and the Vikes are a badly-run organization, and he realized how much better he'd had it in New England.

The thing about KC is that it's probably one of the few places he would be able to exist, because Haley is Mini-Belichick, the team is winning and has strong defensive and run-game components, they have strong coordinators with winning reputations, and he wouldn't have to be the main man. I think he'd fit beautifully there.

He's the only reason cassel is with the chiefs. He made Cassel look better than he is and that's exactly why we should pick him up.

Seiously, getting him makes us a dare I say... Superbowl contender?

I hope they get the opportunity to get him. Cassel needs all the help he can get. Due to the attention he commands, our O would become an instant juggernaut.

Because the traded deadline has passed, Moss is subject to the NFL's waiver system.

The 0-7 Buffalo Bills have top priority, followed by the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers (1-6), and 2-6 teams such as the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. Detroit, Cleveland, and Cincinnati are next in line, but are unlikely to add high-profile receiver at this point in the season.

The 3-5 San Diego Chargers, however, might have interest in adding Moss for their attempt to turn around another slow start to the season.

New England has the NFL's best record, and are therefore unlikely to be awarded Moss, should they put a claim in.

Moss' numbers in 2008 - 1000 receiving yards, 11 touchdowns. Obviously almost all of that would be with Cassel.
